This game knocked me down! The 1D premise shone as it evolved in tone and subverted traditional ZZT world design in a way that should delight veteran ZZT world enjoyers.

The game kills you a lot, and once I learned to appreciate that aspect, I looked forward to the next lethal gameplay beats for me to outhink, outlast, and outplay.

As the story developed, Kaddar revealed just enough of a world–appropriately barely out of full view—making for a compelling and satisfying playthrough experience.
