We're really starting to wrap up this oversized upload queue thing now. This brings it down to a single page for the first time in months! Expect a lot of low effort games in this batch which make the ones with even the slightest bit more effort feel that much more impressive.
"Parker World" by Parker Marcotte
A game with zero objects and zero scrolls. It's about as minimalist as it gets. Big fan of the aquarium board with lions and tigers in the fish tank.
"The ZZT Convention Demo" by Sephiroth X (2001)
A demo about every teenager's dream of getting to meet a bunch of ZZTers. Thanks to some poor filenames this game breaks ZZT without resaving the file in something like KevEdit.
"10 Levels of Fury" by GAMEBOYJBF (1995)
WELCOME TO MESS UP, WHERE ALL IS MESSED UP ALOT. WHAT HAPPENED? I WILL TELL YOU. ONE DAY I BOUGHT A MAGIC KIT CALLED "MYSTERIOUS BAG". THE KIT CAME WITH MANY STUFF, AND WHEN I MESSED UP, I WAS MESSED UP. FIND OUT AND FIX IT!!!
"Taylor and Jonathan vs. Barney" (1997)
Dear Player, I have kidnapped your best friend TAYLOR! Come here if you dare see him again! Huh ha! Signed, BARNEY!!!!! $Jon: OH NO!! I HATE BARNEY! AAAAGGH!
"Mutant Middle Aged Killer Commandos From Mars" (1994)
What an incredibly powerful title! The "longest ZZT game" here has 30 boards.
This game lets you save Barney! Or shoot him and get called a sicko for doing so.
"People We've Never Seen" by Drama Dale (1995)
Well, you're here. I guess you want to know why! You whiny little people always want to know WHY! Well, I'll tell you! You're here to help Scotch tape find Balding Eagle 1 and then the mailman who has stolen his sandwhich! Get moving, butt-hole.
"Detectiv' Dan" by RRT190 (1996)
Search for clues and track down the notorious thief "Jim". While still quite rough in quality, this one looks a lot more coherent than most games with this yellow bordered aesthetic. There's a board named "Womans room (arf arf!)" if you like your detective stories with a dash of objectifying women.
When a game couldn't be bothered to have a title, you know you're in for a treat. Lots of zoos in this one owing to ZZT's variety of animal enemies.
"Evil Reign: The Missing King (Demo)" by Daniel (1998)
An RPG demo with its own custom font that gives the smiley characters spiky hair! Also there's board called "Throne room" and you talk to the king in it so I'm not sure what this game is actually about.
Another unnamed game. Your goal is to find a way inside "treasure city".
"Super Fighter" by Victor Lin (1997)
There are like 40 boards in this game imported from STK and other ZZT utilities, and then 4 boards of gameplay which unsurprisingly, use almost none of what was imported.
"Ghoulish ZZT" by Brent Stone (1996)
Good name. Great title screen. Excellent company name. Somehow spelled "ZZT" wrong. Your sister has been captured by a ghost and it's up to you to rescue her.
