You crash-land on a mysterious island, where you quickly learn that the only ferry out for months will leave at noon, costs 200 gems--not "dollars"--and that everyone is named Amy.

Good writing and a weird and wonderful world make this a memorable adventure already, but the "game" aspect of this game is also really, really good. It feels a little like playing a classic adventure-puzzle game, but it's less arbitrary and more fair-play. There's not a lot of action, but there's very good dialogue and the puzzles are inventive and devious. And for both the puzzles and for what action there is, Rabbitboots uses the ZZT medium to its fullest.

This game more than stands on its own, and if ZZT continues lasting way past its "expiration date" this game will be one of the new classics. The author ought to get developing an AGS remake and get that stuff on Steam. I'd buy it.
