Revisiting the 2.4 Hours Blitzkrieg ZZT jam held last summer! Each participant was sent off to a site to be given a fictional word and its definition and then to use that for the basis of their game.
BAILAP - A bartending game about mixing up drinks for patrons with nothing more than what kind of drink they'd like.
EMISSIAN - Finding some Turkish delight and the right restaurant for your date in Constantinople
HAHOL - You awaken bleeding in a snowy forest and have to seek shelter. Bill Watterson is there.
MUGBOAT - #MugboatSweep
PILEAD - A search for purple key to claim the treasure hidden in a set of trees with a shared root
SARVEY - Dealing with escaped cargo in your hinged sailboat
ZOLOTL - Acquiring a rare plant from the rainforest of ZZT to class up the Museum of ZZT back home
SERAGE - Arranged colored blocks of sand into lines to clear them
GOURDI - Solving puzzles as you reminisce about your father and the lessons he tried to teach you as a child
They were fun to revisit! I had played them all off stream when they were new (HAHOL is mine) for the judging process. At the end of the video I give my current assessments of each, compare it to my originally submitted scores, and look at the final results of the jam.
